Systems IT is on the Technology Services 3 Framework

Systems It has been named as a supplier on the  Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Technology Services 3 Framework. . Technology Services 3 is the next iteration of the successful Technology Services 2 framework. It will continue to cover traditional Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services, from strategy through to transition and operational deployment.
It will also look to include new and future services, which have been requested throughout customer and supplier engagement, where these are clear and separate from other CCS agreements.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

What is Technology Services 3?

The easiest way to answer this question is to use the words of Philip Orumwense, the CCS’ Chief Procurement Officer. He said:
“Technology Services 3 has been designed and developed using an extensive discovery and consultative process with many of our customers, suppliers, and partners. This framework truly reflects and represents their expectations and provides the platform for the country to build back better with the right mix of quality and innovative suppliers, including SME providers.
“This is another example of how CCS is putting customers at the heart of everything we do to help support the public sector to continue on its digital transformation journey.

What is Lot 3a?

Lot 3a is End User Services. As an IT support company operating since 2004, we have plenty of experience in ensuring that the end user has what they need and knows how to use the technology provided to them. We support 1,000’s of users in the private sector and look forward to adding public sector end users too.

In a little more detail, Lot 3a covers:

  • End user support
    • Logging and managing support incidents
    • Allocating engineers to fix the incidents
    • End user training coordination
  • End user computing and device management
    • Full life cycle support for end user IT equipment
    • Device deployment, maintenance, management and disposal
    • Planning, process management and administration

And, of course, anything else that wraps around the end user experience.
